Praise is one of the most-discussed topics in education and parenting. We want to give children positive feedback, but it often ends up coming across as hollow or even manipulative. Like many parents, I catch myself saying "good job" to my son when he does something that I like. One of my parenting goals is to use more genuine feedback, so I was excited to come across this great list of alternative "praise" statements. I know I'll still say "good job" sometimes, and that's OK, but it's good to have other options. Happy Thursday!
